Our latest collaboration brings together Barbour’s coastal heritage and Paul Smith’s archive of personal photography to capture the carefree spirit of a day out at the British seaside – and you’re invited too.
The collection blends playful design with lasting craftsmanship across both a menswear and womenswear range. Knitwear features traditional stripes and rich marine-inspired textures, while lightweight poplins and nostalgic ginghams in shirting are made for long summer days. Graphic T-shirts combine Paul Smith’s (and his father’s) original photography and hand-drawn illustrations to capture unmistakable coastal moments. The nautical influence continues through accessories from tartan deck shoes to embroidered dry wax hats.
And if the coast brings unpredictable weather, we’ve come prepared. Classic Barbour outerwear such as the Bedale and Durham have been reworked with pops of colour and signature Paul Smith details. Inside, bespoke linings include archival photography from Paul’s collection and our Ancient Tartan reimagined with bright polka dots. And for a final seaside flourish, each jacket hides a small surprise in the pocket: a for‘tuna’ fish, just for luck – and a smile.
