Barbour Student Competition | Terms and Conditions  

A few rules... 

The Promoter: J Barbour & Sons Ltd, (a company registered in England and Wales under company number 124201) whose registered office is Simonside Industrial Estate, South Shields, Tyne & Wear, NE34 9PD. 

The Competition:  

Winner: Win a Barbour Wax Jacket (Worth up to £300). 

The winner can choose one Barbour Wax Jacket of their choice up to the value of £300. Collaborations are not included.  

How to enter: 

Entry is made online completing a form with your name, contact information and your guess to the number of studs in the jar and signing up to Barbour’s Newsletter.  

This competition is only open to Students, who must show a valid form of Student ID upon entry of the competition.  

Only one entry per person.  

No purchase is necessary, and entry is free.  

This competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 years and over excluding employees or agents of Barbour and/or anyone professionally connected with the promotion and their immediate families.  

The competition will run from 09.00 GMT on Wednesday 17 September 2025 (“Opening Date”) to 23.59 GMT on Sunday 21 September 2025 (“Closing Date”). All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.  

The Promoter will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are corrupted, not successfully completed or transmitted, regardless of cause, including, for example, because of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, website, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.  

By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

The winner will be chosen at random from the competition entries after the Closing Date. The decision of the judge is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered.  

The winner’s name is available on request in accordance with the CAP Code.  

Barbour will contact the winner via email by 23.59 GMT on Friday 26th September 2025 and we will not ask for any details from you other than for your choice and size of jacket, email address and address to post the prize to you. 

The prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and there is no cash alternative. In the unlikely event this prize should become unavailable, Barbour reserves the right to substitute for a prize of equal or greater value.

Barbour reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the competition if any problem prevents the competition from running as planned. Barbour is not responsible for technical errors or other occurrences which prevent the competition from running as planned. 

These terms and conditions are governed by English law.
