We offer a very special service that allows our customers to return their beloved Barbour jacket* at any time to be re-waxed, cleaned, repaired, or altered. We recommend that you re-wax your jacket annually depending on wear and use a small re-wax for accessories which include waxed cotton hoods, belts, and dog coats. Terms & Conditions apply.

How to use our Repair & Re-wax Service

Step 1: Choose a service

Below, you can select either 'Repair, Re-wax and Cleaning services' for your waxed jacket, or, you can select 'Re-waxing smaller items' which is for wax hoods, hats, bags, and dog coats.

Step 2: Send your jacket to us via mail

Once you've selected a service and bought the repairs/re-wax you would like, you will receive instructions via email on how to send your garment to our factory.


Before forwarding your wax garment ensure all pockets are emptied and any harmful substances removed.


Please address your parcel to:

We ask you to cover the cost of sending your garment to us and we will cover the cost of returning your garment to you. *UK addresses only.


Please note: we cannot accept deliveries on a Friday or during Bank Holidays. Due to this there may be a small delay in the processing of jackets during bank holiday periods.

Step 3: We'll give your jacket some TLC

Once we have confirmed receipt of your jacket, we promise to have your re-wax completed within 10 days, a clean and re-wax within 21 days and your repair or alteration completed within 35 days.

Further information about our Repair and Re-wax service

In most cases, we can successfully repair and re-wax a wax garment, however, some items are simply beyond repair because they are too damaged. If this applies to your wax garment, our customer service team will contact you and return your garment. Re-waxing may initially change the appearance of your jacket giving it a darker colour and sheen finish. With wear, the appearance of your garment will change. Please note that any wear that has not been requested to be repaired can worsen during the cleaning process. We highly recommend repairs if needed prior to the Clean & Re-wax service.

Our classic 6oz wax is extremely durable and is one of our oldest and most loved wax weights. Although hard-wearing, you can help your waxed jacket last even longer with re-waxing.
