INSPIRED BY THE SPEY
First introduced into the range in 1981, the Spey Waxed Jacket is one of our most popular heritage styles. Originally designed as our first ever fishing jacket, made to be worn with waders, the Spey continues to inspire our collections, even after its discontinuation in 1997.
Recognisable by its 'D' ring details, designed to allow the wearer to attach landing nets and two chest pockets for easy storage, this slim rendition of the Spey is a nod to our strong heritage.

INSPIRED BY THE TRANSPORT
First introduced into the range in 2000, the Transport jacket was commissioned by Dame Margaret Barbour and inspired by mountain biking.
The Barbour Sofie Showerproof Jacket takes inspiration from the Transport with its shorter, A-line length, raglan sleeves, welt pockets, distinctive inner waist storm skirt, storm cuffs and a hidden inside pocket. Endlessly versatile, this jacket can be worn in both urban and country settings.

INSPIRED BY THE BEDALE
First introduced into the range in 1980, the Bedale was originally designed by Dame Margaret Barbour as an equestrian jacket as the shorter length was ideal when riding and the double rear vents and gusset meant the jacket sat comfortable over the saddle.
This seasons, Peached Bedale Casual Jacket features all of the Bedale's signature attributes such as the large bellow pockets, ring pull zip fastening, handwarmer pockets and corduroy collar.
