Barbour Icons in Quilting
The Barbour Liddesdale has been the cornerstone of winter wardrobes for the past 30 years. As one of our most iconic jackets, it's a testament to enduring style and timelessness - recognisable by it's signature diamond quilt and cord collar. Discover below how we're celebrating this milestone from limited edition jackets to re-loved exhibitions.

Barbour Re-loved Quilts
Also in celebration of 30 years of the Liddesdale, we have partnered with friends of Barbour to re-love and restore old Liddesdale jackets into something new.
With designs from Paul Smith, Baracuta, David Gandy and even Shaun the Sheep - this collection will be auctioned wth proceeds going to The Royal Countryside Fund.
An auction of the jackets will take place between 8th and 19th November and will be hosted online by Bonhams.
The History of the Liddesdale
In 1994, the Liddesdale quilted jacket was introduced into the range and 30 years on it continues to be a bestseller. Named after the Liddesdale Valley in the Scottish borders, it was originally designed for equestrian use - lightweight and easy to wear.
Made from a distinctive diamond quilted lightweight nylon outer with a smart cord collar and two large pockets, it has both rural and urban appeal.
