What’s the best way to kick off the summer? How about a spirited game of pickleball to celebrate the Summer Way of Life.
This June, Barbour partnered with New York City’s home for pickleball, CityPickle, for a morning of structured play and tournaments with light bites and refreshments.
CityPickle coaches gave their pro tips and tricks to both experienced and beginner picklers. Everyone hit the courts to have fun and enjoy the summer weather in NYC!
The coaches at CityPickle gave the team some tips on best pickle practices:
- Keep it simple
- Own the fundamentals before you before you try to master the cool shots
- Learn + maintain proper court positioning
- Be patient and learn how to hit the ball softly
- Stay out of the kitchen
- If you’re not having fun, you’re not doing it right!
