Barbour X Laura Ashley AW20
This autumn, we’re launching our first collaboration with interior and fashion label Laura Ashley, which blends signature Barbour styles with Laura Ashley's archive patterns, creating a heritage-inspired, feminine collection brimming with quintessential British charm.
Featuring a pretty array of outerwear, clothing, and accessories, you’ll find two carefully selected floral patterns enhancing quilts, waxed jackets, scarves, dresses and more.
The first pattern, Shepherd’s Purse, was introduced in 1976 and features distinctive heart-shaped seedpods that inspired the name. The second, Indienne, is an Indian textile pattern from the 17th century used by Laura Ashley since 1985.
Elegant Outerwear
Throughout the range, there is a mix of outerwear styles in autumnal colours, including the Barbour Poplars Wax, influenced by Barbour’s much-loved Beadnell waxed jacket. It’s been given a modern twist and is available with the printed lining Shepherd’s Purse, or Indienne, adding character with every stitch.
For those who prefer a quilted style, the Barbour Elm Quilt, based on the Barbour Liddesdale first introduced in the 90s, is reversible, making for a versatile, stylish garment to keep you warm throughout the season.
Layering Up
Not only can you find the Laura Ashley patterns in Barbour’s famous outerwear, but also in the collection of knitwear, shirts, dresses, sweatshirts, and accessories.
The button-through printed shirt dress in the Indienne print, the Barbour Elm Dress, has a premium silk-like texture, offering a feminine silhouette, while the fine wool Fair Isle jumper, the Barbour Poplars Knit, features a ribbed stitch round neckline and long, gathered sleeves, offering a more vintage look.
