Barbour Coastal: SS19 Campaign
spring summer 2019
The SS19 Barbour Coastal collection is a celebration of our long and rich maritime heritage, which goes back to the beginnings of the brand in 1894, when John Barbour first starting providing oilskins and other clothing to sailors, fishermen and rivermen, to protect them from the worst of the North Sea weather.
Designed for the stylishly active, this season’s collection features colours that are fresh and vibrant, with new pops of marigold, clover and soft powder blue. Tees feature playful maritime motifs, while dresses take nautical stripes and checks in lightweight cotton and linen; ideal for the summer months and any of your adventures.
Knits are offered in lovely soft and comfortable to wear cotton, alongside lightweight waterproof jackets in a choice of colours from navy through to vintage rose. Gilets and a new denim jacket create a look that is effortless, easy to wear, and perfect for summer.
In celebration of the SS19 Barbour Coastal range, we’re joining travel bloggers Laura and Claire Jopson, also known as travel duo ‘Twins that Travel’, to discover treasures of the North coast. With their unique brand of warmth and realism, it’s easy to see why people love their work so much, and we are lucky enough to be joining them on a road trip along the North East coastline.
As Laura and Claire adventure along the coastline taking in the sights, we’ll find out the best places to explore, hidden spots, and how they style the Coastal collection for their trip.
