We visited CHO in Carlisle to meet #BarbourDogs Max and Pip, to discover more about them and their roles in store...
Max
Introduce yourself and tell us what breed you are? Hi my name is Max, I’m 9 years old and I’m a miniature Jack Russell.
Tell us about your store? I love the store; there is lots of room to run around and lots of friendly faces I like to play with.
What makes your store unique? CHO Fashion and Lifestyle store is so unique as it has a huge selection of Barbour products, my favourite being the Barbour dog beds as they are great to snuggle into after a long walk with Sarah.
Who is your human and what is their role at the store? Sarah is the customer service manager at CHO.co.uk.

Introduce yourself and tell us what breed you are? My name is Pip, I am a working cocker spaniel, I am only 11 weeks old and Max is my Neighbour!
Tell us about your store? My Daddy opened CHO Fashion and Lifestyle in October 1999 - he says that customers are the most important thing as well as all the lovely Barbour products we sell of course.
What makes your store unique? CHO Fashion and Lifestyle is amazing as we sell so many fantastic things, you can buy lots and lots for me which is very important but also for my family when they take me out for long walks which I love to do.

Who is your human and what is their role at the store? Anthony is my daddy, he is the founder and managing director of the store.
What is your role at the store and what does that involve?
Max: My role at CHO Fashion & Lifestyle is ‘Top Dog’ as all the customers love me as I welcome them into the store. The staff think I am great providing them with cuddles and sometimes I even get yummy treats.
Pip: Well Max is “Top Dog” (as he says himself) he is older than me but I am a quick learner and he is teaching me everything.
What is your favourite part of the store and why?
Max: It’s so hard to choose my favourite part of the store as it is so big and exciting to explore, I love posing on the Barbour dog beds in our photography studio. The lunch room is also a favourite place as the dispatch team always give me tasty treats.
Pip: I like being on the shop floor with Anne, Scarlet, Lois and Chloe as they are all so lovely, when they are not serving customers they give me treats but do not tell my daddy that.
In your down time from helping at the store, what do you most like doing?
Max: I am lucky to live on the door step of the most beautiful part of the country, the Lake District. There is nothing better than a scenic walk with the breath-taking views across the Lake District fells, finishing off in a country pub with a roaring fire to have a nap beside.
Pip: I am so young that I am exploring lots and lots, we are lucky to live so close to fields where I can run around and get all muddy - my daddy said he is going to take me up a mountain one day when I get bigger as living in the Lake District we have lots of fantastic walks apparently…
