Barbour White Label SS20
SPRING SUMMER 2020
Over the course of Barbour’s 125 year history, we’ve built up an extensive and eclectic archive that provides a deep well of inspiration for our designers. Fusing this heritage with an eye for clean and contemporary details, the Barbour White Label collection has forged a unique identity of its own over the last few seasons.
Originally known as the Made for Japan collection, the range is inspired by Tokyo street style and Japan’s minimal design sensibilities, bringing classic Barbour up to date with modern fabrics, slim fits and stripped back trims. We've once again enlisted Chinese-born illustrator Fei Wang, a.k.a. Mr. Slowboy, to bring the collection to life in his own inimitable style.
For Spring/Summer 2020, the collection focuses on the iconic Bedale jacket, delivering new takes on this key piece of Barbour’s archive. With versions in our waterproof breathable fabric, overdyed cotton and an oversized ripstop model, the spotlight on the Bedale highlights the versatile nature of this timeless design.
Elsewhere, the collection houses new options for the upcoming warmer months. The Inver stripe t-shirt and Belhaven polo shirt upgrade these essentials with vintage-inspired detailing and premium fabrics, while the Dunbar and Wrath shirts bring a textured dimension to these smart-casual classics. For the very warmest days, the Cove shorts are cut to a boxy fit for a comfortable and casual feel.
