Barbour Dogs Summer Competition | Terms and Conditions

A few rules…

Who can enter?

This competition is open to everyone who is resident in the United Kingdom, excluding employees or agents of Barbour and/or anyone professionally connected with this competition and their immediate families.

You must be at least 18 years old.

No purchase is necessary and entry into this competition is free.

This competition will run from Monday 14th of July 2025 09:00 GMT to Monday 18th August 2025 09:00 GMT. We will select a winner the following week.

You must be a dog owner.

Your Instagram account must be public.

Method of entry

To enter this competition, share a photo on Instagram of your dog out and about this summer wearing their best Barbour Gear, using our hashtag #BarbourDogs and tagging @barbourdogs.

For entry to be valid, there must be no other visible brands within the image.

The Prize

The prize will be up to £200 to spend on some new Barbour Dogs gear!

The winner will be selected by a panel of judges at Barbour head office in the UK from all entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions. The judges decision will be based on the content of the submission. 

We will notify our winning entrant no later than five days after the competition closes. All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and there is no cash alternative. In the unlikely event this prize should become unavailable, Barbour reserves the right to substitute for an alternative prize of Barbour product, of equal or higher value.

J Barbour & Sons Ltd reserves the right to withdraw this competition at any time without prior notice, but this will not apply to any entries that have already been submitted.

·      The odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received.

Winner

Barbour will contact the winner via Instagram direct messages, no later than five days after the competition finishes.

The successful winner’s first name, as well as their dogs name, may appear on Barbour.com, Barbour and Barbour Dogs social channels, and emails. By entering this competition, you consent to Barbour publishing your name as the successful winner of the prize.

The winners must claim their prize within 1 week of receiving notification from Barbour. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, Barbour reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to an alternative entrant using the same selection procedure.

Barbour shall have no liability to a previously selected potential winner who has not responded in time.

·      Please note the prize cannot be selected from retail stores or claimed via barbour.com. Delivery of the prize will be organised free of charge by Barbour to the successful entrant.

By entering this competition, you are agreeing:

·     By entering images of your dog into this competition via the specified entry method you are consenting to Barbour using such imagery and words in the future for marketing and promotional purposes. Barbour will have the right to use, copy, edit, add to and publish in a public forum your name and imagery (in whole or in part) on a royalty-free basis as well as incorporating such imagery into other works in any technology format (whether existing or later developed).

·      If successful in winning the competition, you will provide 3-5 photographs of your dog wearing the prizes provided by Barbour.

·     That by providing images of your dog wearing the prize, you are consenting to Barbour using such imagery and words in the future for marketing and promotional purposes. Barbour will have the right to use, copy, edit, add to and publish in a public forum your name and imagery (in whole or in part) on a royalty-free basis as well as incorporating such imagery into other works in any technology format (whether existing or later developed).

·     That Barbour reserves the right to ask the winner to provide proof of age and/or country of residence and the winner agrees to provide any information required by Barbour to fulfil their obligations under these terms and conditions as per applicable laws.

·      That you may be requested to provide Barbour with proof that you are the account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.

·      By entering this competition, you consent to receiving marketing emails from Barbour. You may unsubscribe later if you wish.

·      Barbour reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the competition if any problem prevents the competition from running as planned as described above. Barbour is not responsible for technical errors or other occurrences which prevent the competition from running as planned.

·      These terms and conditions are governed by English law.
