Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
This promotion is operated by J Barbour & Sons Ltd (trading as Barbour), registered in England and Wales under company number 0124201, with registered office at Simonside Industrial Estate, South Shields, Tyne & Wear, NE34 9PD (“Barbour” or “Promoter”).
2. Eligibility
2.1 The promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
2.2 The promotion is not open to employees or agents of Barbour, Belsay International Horse Trials, or anyone professionally connected with this promotion, including their immediate family members.
2.3 By entering the promotion, participants confirm they are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize they may win.
3. Promotional Period
3.1 The promotion opens at 10:00am (GMT) on Friday 1st May 2026 and closes at 23:59 (GMT) on Tuesday 6th May 2026 (“Promotional Period”).
3.2 Entries received outside of the Promotional Period will not be valid.
4. How to Enter
4.1 To enter the promotion, participants must:
- Enter their details via the online competition form, with the link accessed through the email communications
- Click 'submit' to ensure details are properly submitted.
4.2 Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries will not be counted.
5. The Prize
5.1.a One winner will receive two classic wax jackets from a choice of Barbour Beadnell, Barbour Bedale or Barbour Beaufort in the colours and size of their choice (subject to Barbour's availability). They will also win two tickets to Belsay International Horse Trials 2026.
5.1.b Two runner ups will win a pair of tickets each to Belsay International Horse Trials 2026.
5.2 The prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available.
5.3 In the event that the prizes become unavailable for any reason, Barbour reserves the right to substitute with a prize of equal or greater value.
5.4 Barbour accepts no responsibility for any additional costs associated with the prizes not specifically included.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
6.1 The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period.
6.2 The winner will be notified via the contact details provided at entry on or before Friday 9th May 2026.
6.3 If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, Barbour reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.
6.4 The winner may be required to provide proof of age, identity, and residency before the prize is awarded.
6.5 The winner’s surname and county may be made available upon request in accordance with UK promotional marketing regulations.
7. Data Protection
7.1 Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will be processed in accordance with Barbour’s Privacy Policy.
7.2 Data will be used for the purposes of administering the promotion and fulfilling the prize.
8. General
8.1 Barbour reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
8.2 Barbour is not responsible for technical issues, system failures, or other events that may prevent entry or disrupt the promotion.
8.3 The decision of Barbour in respect of all matters relating to the promotion will be final.
8.4 These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
