New this year, we’ve teamed up with the luxurious waterfront resort Wequassett Resort and Golf Club to create a residency on the picturesque shores of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Infusing our longstanding heritage and appreciation for nature with the hotel’s unparalleled emphasis on luxury hospitality, we created a unique guest experience that embodies our shared values of timeless elegance, sensible style, and a passion for adventure — from outdoor activities to exclusive food & beverage offerings.

This 27-acre, Double Forbes Five-Star waterfront property brings the British coast and countryside to life with the debut of an exclusive Barbour stay package, including a seasonal “Field Guide” of outdoor activities celebrating the brand's ethos and best of the destination throughout the year.

Choice of Barbour Styles

Not only is Barbour apparel present throughout the hotel, from the gift shop to the staff uniforms, Wequassett has also thoughtfully provided an on-site Barbour borrowing closet in the front lobby. For unexpected New England weather, guests can choose from Barbour wax jackets and rainproof Wellington boots, all available for loan or purchase and stocked in men’s, women’s, and children’s sizes.

Food & Drink with a Barbour Twist

Wequassett will offer a taste of Barbour throughout three different specialty drink and dinner experiences with custom flavors and ingredients inspired by New England and amplified by signature Barbour branding.

Guests can participate in a limited-edition dinner curated by Executive Chef James Hackney at twenty-eight Atlantic, the region's only Forbes Five-Star rated restaurant housed in an 18th-century sea captain’s home with floor-to-ceiling views overlooking Pleasant Bay.

Developed by Wequassett Food and Beverage Director Rene Votteler to embody our love for the outdoors, a specialty cocktail named the “The Explorer” featuring Macallan Double Cask, fresh lemon juice, honey, angostura bitters, and an embossed lemon peel, will be available at any of the resort’s food and beverage outlets throughout the length of the partnership. In addition, bourbon and whiskey tastings inspired by our British roots will be offered as a pre or post-dinner activity at Thoreau’s, an intimate club-like bar at the resort with dark leather and suede accents serving tavern-style fare with a modern twist.

Barbour Way of Life Activities 

Influenced by the Barbour Way of Life, the “Field Guide” Package has an adventure-packed itinerary including various outdoor activities, including excursions of the historic Chatham Lighthouse, clamming boat tours, and scenic biking routes along the Cape Cod Rail Trail.

At night, guests can unwind after a busy day by roasting s’mores, enjoying an intimate nightcap by the firepits, or watching a classic film as part of the hotel’s fireplace movie nights. For those looking for more adventure, Wequassett will offer starry night explorations where guests can learn about constellations and galaxies with expert Michael Bentz.  

This year, Barbour will continue to be integrated into Wequassett Resort and Golf Club’s upcoming events and activations, such as Soirée on the Bay, the Cape Cod Jazz + Arts Festival, and will establish Wequassett as a Barbour Re-Loved drop-off location later this Fall.
