This season, we are continuing our collaboration with ALEXACHUNG, presenting a spring-summer collection filled with contemporary outerwear that draws on Barbour's country roots, this time taking inspiration from the equestrian styles from our iconic archive.
Reviving classic Barbour styles, the 9-piece collection is as practical and functional, as it is stylish. Waxed and quilt styles that are synonymous with Barbour feature across the range, with the equestrian heritage reimagined, and brought forward into modern staples you can wear for many different occasions.
This season's jackets are also brimming with pockets, allowing you to leave your handbag at home. The extra space to store all of your essentials makes these jackets the perfect companions, whether you're wandering your local park, or exploring the countryside on your doorstep.
The collection features Barbour By ALEXACHUNG’s first double-breasted style with the Delia Quilt. Available in navy or russet, short or long, this jacket provides an elegant solution for the cool spring weather, providing a fashionable take on a classic trench coat with a belt to cinch in the waist.
The Maud Casual is another double-breasted style, which is based on the oldest jacket in our archive, the Haydon, also affectionately known as ‘Uncle Harry’s Jacket’. Uncle Harry, the pioneering wildlife photographer, and his adventurous spirit is captured in this sandy-brown style that will look perfectly placed in the country or the city.
Another stand-out piece from the collection is the Julie Jacket, a nod to the boxy silhouette of the Barbour Beacon Thornproof jacket. This graceful A-line style is a new take on the iconic archive jacket but retains the button fastening at the front. Made in gentle hues of mist and navy, this is the perfect piece for elevating any outfit ensemble this season.
