Barbour Repair & Rewax (R&R) - Terms and Conditions

 

  • What these terms cover. These are the terms and conditions on which we supply our R&R services to you.
  • Why you should read them. Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us. These terms tell you which products the R&R services apply to, the cost of such services, expected turnaround times and other important information. Please note that these terms and conditions must be read in conjunction with our terms and conditions of supply located on our website here.
  • Wax jackets. You can now arrange for your Barbour wax jacket to be either (i) re-waxed and cleaned; ii) re-waxed only; and/or (iii) repaired or altered. This is done by selecting the applicable options on the R&R page on Barbour.com. Please note there is no option for a clean only service.
  •  Small items. You can also arrange for any small Barbour waxed items to be re-waxed. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes (and is limited to) dog coats, hats, trousers, bags and hoods. It does not include children’s wax jacket.
  • Pricing. Please note the price for the applicable R&R services will be as indicated when you place your order.
  • Our contract with you. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to send your jacket or small item to our head office for R&R. Details are provided on the R&R page on Barbour.com.
  • If we cannot accept your order. Barbour will inspect the jacket or small item (as applicable) prior to any works and may at its sole discretion refuse to undertake any such works if it deems that the jacket or small item in question requires any repairs or if your selected repair does not reflect the repair required. Please note that we cannot re-wax a jacket that requires repair.
  • Completing the works. Barbour aims to provide the following turnaround times for the relevant R&R services (commencing on receipt of item to Barbour, please note these timings may be impacted over the Christmas period)
    • 35 days for repair, re-wax and clean;
    • 35 days for repair only;
    • 21 days for a clean and rewax; and
    • 10 days for a re-wax only.
  • We are not responsible for delays outside our control. If our performance of the R&R services is affected by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay.
  • Return your jacket for repair and if it is received by us on or before the 23rd November, we will return in time for Christmas. Please note, our factory is currently in it’s peak repairs period so should your jacket require more than 150 minutes worth of repair work it may need more time with our factory team.  If this is the case our Customer Service team will be in touch to discuss timescales with you.
  • Return your jacket for a clean and re-wax and it is received by us on or before the 30th November, we will return it in time for Christmas.
  • Return your jacket for a re-wax only and if it is received by us on or before the 11th December, we will return it in time for Christmas.
  • Please note that our factory will be closed from Thursday 21st December until Monday 8th January, which will extend our service turnaround times throughout this period.
