Il lungo rapporto di Barbour con il cotone cerato ha inizio nel 1894, quando il fondatore John Barbour decise di aprire un negozio nella piazza del mercato di South Shields, nel nord-est dell’Inghilterra, per offrire ai clienti cerate pratiche e resistenti che potessero proteggerli dalle peggiori condizioni atmosferiche del Mare del Nord.


Bedale, Beaufort e Border, sono questi i nomi delle tre giacche che hanno portato alla notorietà il brand Barbour negli anni ‘80, fino ai modelli più recenti, come il Beadnell, la giacca Ashby, il Corbridge e il Sapper, tutti con uno stile classico e versatile che li ha resi dei best-seller in grado di resistere alla prova del tempo senza mai deludere.
