Barbour Quilt for Life (QFL) | Terms and Conditions

 

  • What these terms cover. These are the terms and conditions on which we supply our QFL services to you.
  • Why you should read them. Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us. These terms tell you which products the QFL services apply to, the cost of such services, expected turnaround times and other important information. Please note that these terms and conditions must be read in conjunction with our terms and conditions of supply located on our website here.
  • Quilted jackets. You can now arrange for your Barbour quilted jacket to be either (i) cleaned; and/or ii) repaired via the QFL page on Barbour.com. Please note, there is no option for a clean-only service.
  • Repairs. Please note that we may be unable to undertake repair work using the exact same hardware (zips, buttons or fastening) or fabric as that used originally in the manufacture of the jacket. We will use reasonable endeavours to undertake the repair work using materials and fabrics which are as close to the original materials and fabrics as possible or which we consider to be the most appropriate for the jacket. Barbour reserves the right to reject your order for services if we are unable to find materials and fabrics which are, in our sole opinion, a close match to the originals and we are under no obligation to consult with you on this.
  • Pricing. Please note the price for the applicable QFL services will be as indicated when you place your order.
  • Our contract with you. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to send your jacket to our head office for QFL. Details are provided on the QFL page on Barbour.com.
  • If we cannot accept your order. Barbour will inspect the jacket prior to any works and may at its sole discretion refuse to undertake any such works if it deems that the jacket in question requires any repairs or if your selected repair does not reflect the repair required.
  • Completing the works. Barbour aims to provide the QFL services within 35 days (commencing on receipt of item to Barbour, please note these timings may be impacted over the Christmas period). We are not responsible for delays outside of our reasonable control. If our performance of the QFL services is affected by an event outside our reasonable control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay.
