Thankfully, we at Barbour have a long legacy of keeping people warm, dry and comfortable in even the worst weather, so you can rely on our Weather Comfort collection to live up to its name, letting you embrace the rain this season.

Barbour Weather Comfort is one of our longest-standing collections, originating in the 1920s, and was designed to offer practical, durable and weather resistant clothing to the people of South Shields, where we’re still based to this day. This deep heritage has been revisited in the modern iteration of the Weather Comfort brand, which utilises modern technology and fabrics to create outerwear that’s perfect for an outdoor way of life, whether you’re commuting or hill-walking.

The Autumn / Winter 2019 collection continues this tradition with a contemporary outlook. For men, the range takes inspiration from technical outdoor gear of the 20th century, presenting our breathable, waterproof fabrics in a spectrum of shades from warm ochre to classic navy. The Ashton jacket combines this influence with classic styling, offering Barbour’s traditional pocket setup along with concealed shock-cord adjusters for a variable, comfortable fit.

As the autumn transitions to winter, styles like the Northway offer quilted linings and high-pile fleece trims to provide essential warmth and supreme comfort. Finally, for a lightweight and fuss-free shield against the elements, the Billy jacket boasts a simple blouson design that’s ideal to throw in a bag to ensure you’re never caught off-guard by sudden showers.

The women’s collection is more colourful but no less practical, offered in a range of jewel tones with pop-colour trims and linings for an unexpected, playful touch.
