spring summer 2019
The SS19 preview collection celebrates Barbour’s rich maritime heritage which goes right back to the beginning of the brand in 1894. The story began with John Barbour who provided oilskins and other clothing to sailors, fisherman and mariners to protect them from the cold northern climate and the North Sea weather. This season’s preview collections offer a carefully curated range of Coastal inspired womenswear and Nautical menswear perfect for those who aspire to a stylish outdoor lifestyle.
Masculine, rugged and bold, this season’s Nautical menswear is inspired by Barbour’s heritage. Taking decades of experience and know how in creating high quality, practical clothing for an outdoor lifestyle, the Barbour men’s nautical collection spans waterproof breathable coats, quilted jackets, knitwear and shoes that are fit for a life outdoors come rain or shine. The women's Coastal collection is fresh, flattering and feminine. Featuring a range of fresh colours with beautiful stripes and maritime inspired motifs throughout. There's cosy knitwear, classic jersey staples and of course outerwear that are designed specifically with the stylish, active woman in mind.
