Our Re-Loved Jackets in Partnership with Oxfam

SPRING SUMMER 2024

This year we have teamed up with Oxfam, the renowned international poverty-fighting organisation to launch for the very first time our Barbour Re-Loved jacket rental initiative at Glastonbury.

Our Re-Loved initiative, which we introduced in 2019, is dedicated to extending the lifespan of our iconic wax jackets. Customers who no longer need their jackets can return them to us in exchange for a voucher. Our customer service team then cleans, repairs, and re-waxes these jackets, preparing them for new owners and ensuring they continue to serve for many more years.

At this year’s Glastonbury festival, taking place from Wednesday, June 26th to Sunday, June 30th, our Re-Loved rental service will be featured at Oxfam stores throughout the festival site. All proceeds from this initiative will support Oxfam’s vital work. Festival attendees can rent a beautifully restored men’s or women’s wax jacket for £45 for the entire weekend. They have the option to return the jacket at the end of the festival– or if they’ve fallen in love with their jacket, to purchase it.

Each rental jacket has been meticulously cleaned, repaired, and re-waxed by our skilled team in South Shields, ensuring it is ready for festival use. Every jacket is unique, featuring reused materials and fabrics from past Glastonbury Festival t-shirts and merchandise, adding a splash of colour and a touch of nostalgia to their interiors.

In addition to jackets, we will also offer re-loved bucket hats, perfect for any weather, available for purchase. Each item will come with a collectible Barbour Re-Loved x Glastonbury 2024 pin badge, with various styles and sizes available to choose from.
