Discover Barbour x The William Morris Gallery

Being bold has always come naturally to our two brands. Morris wanted to bring nature to you, Barbour to get you out in it.  The gallery is a museum dedicated to the life and work of the influential Arts & Crafts designer, William Morris. You can find two William Morris archive prints throughout the collection, Eye Bright and Wey Print, both designed in 1883.  With our heritage designs and Morris archive prints, this is a true showcase of timeless creation. Explore the archive-inspired capsule collection including six outerwear pieces, two dresses and two shirts below.

This collection draws on the simple forms, strong colours and eye-catching details both our crafts share.
Morris’s powerful prints decorate our flowing shirts and dresses, while wax and quilted jackets reveal them under cuffs and colours.

Rendall Wax Jacket

Featuring Eye Bright print

Meet the Rendall. Created with our signature waxed cotton and classic archive olive colour, this shorter-length waxed jacket is decorated with William Morris Eye Bright print. With a distinct cord collar, this print adds flourish to the cuffs, under collar and jacket lining.

Shelton Wax Jacket

Featuring Wey Print

The Shelton. Another classic navy Barbour silhouette, adapted with the Wey print found on the cuffs, lining and collars.  A complementary combination of the print and navy, you can enjoy the great outdoors with an added flare.

Isabella Quilted Jacket

Featuring Eye Bright Print

The Isabella. With a stylish box quilt design with our signature diamond quilting, this jacket is essential for your next venture in the British countryside. With a classic cord collar and aged brass snap buttons, the Eye Bright print is the perfect finishing touch.

Bold by nature

Originally printed at his Merton Abbey workshop in 1883, you will find these  two William Morris prints decorating the collection.

Eye Bright

Named after the flowering herb, now growing up Barbour sleeves, under collars and on a high-neck shirt and dress.

Wey Print

A timless design first created in 1883. This print is named after the River Wey, a tributary of the Thames that passes through Guildford and Weybridge.
