Icons of British Fashion: Blenheim Palace Exhibition

SPRING SUMMER 2024

After months of planning and preparation, we have finally unveiled our exhibition piece at Blenheim Palace. Barbour was amongst other iconic names in British fashion invited to take over a significant room in the UNESCO World Heritage site, Blenheim Palace to create Icons of British Fashion. We were honoured to take over the Palace’s Green Writing Room, where we introduced a homage to our playground…the Great British Countryside.

Drawing inspiration from our unique history and heritage, our showcase captures our past, present and future, all in one room. From our countrywear roots to contemporary collabs, to iconic figures who have played significant roles in shaping the brand, we are celebrating the many chapters of our evolution. Our designers brought the brand to life as the great outdoors takes over, with mannequins bursting from the grounds, staged on willow structures and dressed in an array of natural flowers.

Embark on a journey through British fashion history where this showcase seamlessly integrates clothing, accessories, drawings, photography and archival materials to create the largest fashion exhibition in Blenheim’s history. We’re honoured to be sharing the space alongside iconic names of British fashion, such as Vivienne Westwood, Alice Temperley, and Zandra Rhodes. Icons of British Fashion will feature at Blenheim Palace from the 23rd of March until the 30th of June, where visitors can marvel at the highly visual exhibition. Come along to Blenheim Palace, Woodstock Oxfordshire to check out our homage to the Great British Countryside.
