It’s a cold February morning in East London, but that doesn’t stop Duke from unfolding their Brompton and setting out on their usual ride. For the writer, athlete and model, cycling has become more than a way to move through the city. It’s a way to move through their thoughts.
Growing up in London, Duke’s route into cycling wasn’t traditional. It started with skateboarding, spending time outdoors and finding freedom in movement. Over time, that instinct evolved into something deeper. Now, riding is a way to clear their mind, stay present, and reconnect with the nature that grounds them.
