Barbour Re-Waxing Roadshow

Here at Barbour, we’re continuing our celebrations after 100 years of re-waxing jackets by hosting our very own re-waxing roadshow this spring-summer. We’re taking our re-waxing services on a UK tour, where you can get your beloved waxed jacket restored for many adventures to come.

Regular re-waxing can help extend the life of your jacket, retaining its quality, without removing the personality it’s gained over years of faithful service. Re-waxing once a year depending on wear and use, will help make sure you stay dry throughout the rest of the winter months and into the spring showers.

Our Roadshow is visiting a number of stores up and down the nation, where you to browse the latest collections from Barbour, while your jacket gets lovingly re-waxed. Our stations are manned by our expert re-waxers, who will ensure your jacket is nurtured back to life. Simply pop into your nearest store with your jacket for a chat on how we can rejuvenate your well-loved jacket.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the process for getting your jacket re-waxed?

Re-waxing in-store will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete, meaning we can wax while you wait. But, for the best results, we recommend leaving your jacket with us to allow the wax to dry for 24 hours. Your jacket will be ready to collect from the same store the next working day.

What if I haven’t brought my jacket with me?

We also offer a re-waxing service in our South Shield’s factory, so if you manage to catch one of our re-waxing stations in store and haven’t brought your jacket along, you can still reap the benefits of our re-waxing service by sending your jacket to us.

Our repair and re-wax services ensure a speedy turnaround, dependent on the needs of your jacket so that you can continue to enjoy your jacket and its newly found lease of life. With the option of alterations and repairs as well as re-waxing, no matter how many adventures your jacket has joined you for, we’re here to restore it to its former glory.
