The Wilderness Collection Curated by Ben & Marina Fogle
Inspired by our rich heritage of outfitting people for the great outdoors, the Barbour Wilderness Collection returns for Spring/Summer 2020. Curated by renowned adventurer and presenter Ben Fogle, with his wife, writer and broadcaster Marina Fogle, the collection is informed by the couple’s day-to-day lives and their love of the countryside, along with archival Barbour pieces, perfectly embodying the Barbour way of life.
The key piece from last season, the Keswick Casual Jacket returns in a lighter construction for the warmer months. Based on the sought-after Solway Smock from the Barbour archives, its relaxed fit and versatile colours make it the perfect way to make your mark this season. The collection has the rest of your outfit covered with layers inspired by Ben's love of vintage workwear and outdoor apparel. The Ireby shirt is lovingly made from a lightweight cotton weave, before being given a garment dye and washing treatment to give it the look and feel of a vintage favourite, while the Patterdale tee with its slubby cotton jersey is a wardrobe staple that's anything but basic.
Marina’s womenswear edit builds on the sophisticated yet practical vibe of her last collection, offering a variety of outerwear, knitwear and dresses in classic Barbour colours that you can mix and match to create your own signature look.
Offered in fresh colours and a lightweight, breezy fabric, the Pemberton Casual jacket is the perfect go-to for any time you spend outdoors. With plenty of pockets for all your essential bits and pieces, it's a versatile and timeless outer layer for the transitional months. To bring a feminine yet flattering touch to your daily wear, the Whickham dress is ideal for even the warmest days. Cut to a relaxed silhouette from pure linen for a light and airy feel, the v-neckline and striped design recall vintage styles in a contemporary way.
