Nautical Clothing Supplies
spring summer 2019

Steeped in sea faring heritage, Barbour has been dressing sailors, fishermen, rivermen and dockers since John Barbour set up his first store in the north east of England in 1894. Located in South Shields beside the cold, choppy conditions of the north sea, the Nautical Clothing Supplies collection caters for any weather. Whether you’re enjoying fish and chips along the coast, or making the most of the longer days, style yourself in nautically inspired waterproofs, quilts, knits and tees designed for time outdoors, whatever the weather.

Colours are reminiscent of the north sea and the British coastline in navy, greens and greys. Waterproof Breathables such as the Hallow jacket are designed with practical finishes; draw cord hoods, popper fastened pouch pockets and nautically inspired stripe details add a pop of maritime red to complete the look.

Seaweed greens feature across quilted jackets and overshirts to provide additional layers on colder days. The Barbour Seaton overshirt is cut for a tailored fit and features a button fastened chest pocket with woven branding and fabric trim to the shoulders to layer over bold striped tees or shirts printed throughout with ocean-inspired embroidery.
