The Made for Japan collection is Barbour in its purest form. Iconic styles are re-worked combining 125 years of traditional heritage and modern, slim fit silhouettes, crafted using the authentic construction and techniques that give Barbour jackets their long-lasting longevity. A modern interpretation of classic jackets in olive, navy and sage are complemented by washed out knitwear and striped shirts in white and indigo yarns. Carefully created to give a fresh, modern feel for the spring summer season, the Barbour Made for Japan collection promises a classic, branded look that combines tradition with modern, considered details.
This collection re-introduces the Barbour Spey jacket, maintaining its fishing heritage, it has a slimmer, shorter silhouette giving it a more contemporary frame which adds a whole new dimension to the timeless design. Classics such as the Barbour Durham and Bedale jacket are reinvented in washed cottons and contemporary nylon finishes that stay true to their original design with needle cord collars, stud fastenings and recognisable pocket details.
Mid layers include soft toned sweaters and tees which feature abstract branding to offset the classic crew necks and pocket details and knitted sweaters feature washed finishes to give that worn, vintage appeal. New for spring summer, short sleeved shirts in white and indigo adorned in striped finishes for a fresh summer look which layer up or pair down effortlessly with the rest of the collection.
