CAFE RACER REVIEW // THE TEMPTRESS
By Merry Michau
The Temptress is my number one bike, it definitely feels - and looks - like a women’s cafe racer to me. Its feminine lines and bold flash of colour certainly make for a striking appearance.
She’s been stripped back to basics to form clean and fluid lines, with the addition of clip ons and rear sets completing her cafe racer transformation. The tank is a great size allowing you to blast your way through about 100 miles before filling up. We aren't talking an aged or temperamental machine here, so you can be sure of a reliable ride when you need to count on her most.
In the spring it’s all about layers. And with the weather being so changeable it’s best to start from the inside out and build up your attire. Inspired by the British club-level races that originated in the 60's, the men’s Clubman Tee is ideal for weekend wear. And the women’s Chatton knit offers biker look detailing such as the asymmetric zip through front and elbow patches.
