Barbour tartans have been a beacon of consistency and a symbol of the Barbour family since the company was founded back in 1894, and this Autumn / Winter 17 the Barbour Tartan range showcases a smart and sophisticated collection designed for both town and country living.
Modern and contemporary, this seasons women’s Barbour Tartan collection has reinterpreted the traditional tartan check, introducing both smaller and larger size prints for an elegant look.
Feminine and flattering, the outerwear features beautiful wool coats, stylish waxes and quilts with faux fur collars, whilst the colour palettes are dominated by classic navy and a beautiful emerald green. To complement this, smart shirts, wool dresses and herringbone checked knits offer plenty of choice.
The men’s Barbour Tartan collection is filled with rich greens, reds and golds inspired by the Scottish Highlands and the rugged countryside.
The jackets are smart and contemporary with subtle prints of Tartan throughout for a modern look. Tweed knits, overlaid fabrics and Teflon wools create knitwear that is great to layer up. Whilst the key shades of olive, navy and grey tartans contrast well with this season’s highlight colour of burnt orange.
