The charming seaside location of Tynemouth played host this past weekend to a range of music artists, street performers and family activities for the eagerly anticipated Mouth of the Tyne Festival.
Close to our doorstep in South Shields, we headed up to Tynemouth to join in the festivities.
In true British fashion, rain clouds came and went across the three day event - but that didn’t stop thousands of spectators flocking to the coastline for the festivals 12th consecutive year.
From dazzling street entertainment including juggling and acrobatics, to award winning food catering from Riley’s Fish shack, there was something for everyone at this year’s event.
Concert goers were truly spoilt for choice, with headlining acts Bryan Ferry, Will Young and James Bay taking the stage at the Tynemouth Priory and Castle – set against the backdrop of the stunning North East Coastline.
We were exploring around the festival on Saturday the 11th to capture your best Barbour Summer styles.
We spotted Alex wearing his favourite Olive Barbour Classic Bedale wax jacket - a year round companion that has kept him covered on his travels to seven countries across Europe!
Andrea enjoyed an evening drink in her hooded Wax Jacket whilst listening to Will Young from King Edwards Bay.
We’re on the lookout for more of your summer style this season, so remember to keep an eye on our upcoming events where you can be pictured for a chance to win a Barbour Jacket up to the value of £300.
You can also share your Barbour style with us on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #BarbourPeople to enter – good luck!
