The sun was shining on the coastal town of South Shields, as we headed to the Great North Dog Walk. Attracting over 40,000 people, with around 30,000 dogs representing 185 different breeds, the walk takes place every year, and this year celebrated it's 27th walk!
Taking place on The Leas, in South Shields, it proved to a wonderful day out for all involved. We even managed to avoid the rain!
For the event, we teamed up with the Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter, who provided our #BarbourDogs troop of pups who are looking for their furever homes. We made sure they were all looking their best, kitted out in our latest #BarbourDogs accessories.
Our four-legged friends looked great in their new Barbour collars and leads, all ready for their walk across The Leas.

In case you missed our first Great North Dog Walk blog post, we introduced you to our entire #BarbourDogs troop, who are looking for loving homes. Meet the lovely dogs up for adoption here and help us change a life!
With our help, and loving care of the Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter, we hope to have found our canine friends new homes in no time!
