Barbour International: Behind the Scenes #ForTheFreeSpirited

Get behind the scenes and take a sneak peek at the shoot of our #ForTheFreeSpirited film.

February 13th 2017
We’re taking you behind the scenes of our #ForTheFreeSpirited launch film, that took place at the Crypts Gallery in London.
The campaign concept #ForTheFreeSpirited celebrates a whole host of individuals that embody the confident and unconventional attitude of Barbour International. The faces of our campaign are strong minded enough to chase their passions and are willing to stand out from the crowd.
It was an early start on the first day of shoot with a team of up to 50 people across two set locations, as well as two separate production teams, helping to bring together our SS17 Barbour International campaign.
The team transformed The Crypt Gallery into a suitable music venue, where we captured footage of Musician, Alice Costelloe and Spoken Word Poet, Mr Gee.
Throughout the rest of the day we moved to the famous East London location of Brick Lane – filming scenes including bespoke Motorcycle Engineer Rafe Pugh and Motocross Racer, Patrick Kafka.
Our film is unique, in that it was shot so that it runs on a continuous loop, never finishing and each character introduces the next.
Stuart Howarth, Global Marketing Manager said “The shoot was particularly complex both creatively and from a production point of view, in these instances organisation and a clear creative vision is paramount”
