This month for #BarbourDogs, we're taking a closer look at the four-legged stars from our SS17 campaigns. Next up, we meet the beautiful Hatty, who can be seen in our Barbour Countrywear campaign. Over to you, Hatty!
Our Countrywear collection photoshoot that you starred in was shot in the beautiful British countryside – do you have a favourite countryside walk?
Through the fields & along the beck at Gilling West where I live, then finishing in the pub in the Village with Mum and Dad - The White Swan. If it’s warm enough, I always take a little paddle in the beck on route.
What is it like being part of a Barbour photoshoot? What did you love most about getting to star in the Barbour Countrywear shoot?
I love all the attention and treats I get on set. The pre-groom is lovely too, but thankfully I don’t take anything like the amount of time in hair and makeup as the other models!

How did you get into modelling?
My Mum works for Barbour, so she gave me a good groom, tried to teach me how to sit still for more than 10 seconds, and put me forward as an option. Good news is I was picked (I don’t think she would have taken no for an answer though!).
What makes you a Barbour dog?
Being a working dog, I’m the perfect fit for Barbour because I love the outdoors. Also, as I’m chocolate in colour, I stand out well in photos rather than blending into the background.
What kind of breed are you, and what is so great about being that breed?
I’m a cocker spaniel. A great breed as however much I’m walked I never run out of energy. Also big enough to be a working dog but small enough to be able to share the sofa with Mum & Dad, the perfect combination!
Do you have any fun stories to tell us from behind the scenes of your shoot?
What happens on photoshoot stays on photoshoot.

What do you enjoy doing in your modelling down-time? What are your favourite things to get up to day-to-day?
Day to day, I like going to work with my Dad, and I love riding shotgun in the pick-up. On a weekend, I go shooting around North Yorkshire and Northumberland, and get to run around some amazing estates. My favourite is Wykeham Estate in Scarborough – it’s one of the best pheasant shooting estates in Yorkshire, so I'm really lucky that I live nearby.
After a long week, Sundays are spent sleeping in my favourite spot on the sofa at home.
Don’t forget to enter your very own #BarbourDogs into our competition, where we’re giving the opportunity to win for your canine friend to feature in a Barbour and Harrington’s campaign!
